Our Brentwood backyard suite project in Calgary started out as a custom max-sized suite, at 805 s.f. of envelope, and 850 s.f. of living space.

During the design process, the suite size expanded slightly to accommodate our client’s request, which included the absorption of the balcony space into living space, and two reasonably sized bedrooms. Additionally, the suite features an elevator shaft with an elevator installation TBD at a later date.

Entering the suite, you’ll find a half-bath, elevator access, and a closet for boots and jackets. Walking up the upgraded LVP stairs, you enter a bright accessway to the upper floor into a spacious living space and kitchen. Just off the kitchen is a large bathroom with a glass-tiled shower. Central to the living area is the kitchen that utilizes an L-shaped island and upgraded appliances with custom cabinetry. The upper floor is completed by two bedrooms, almost equal in size, both complete with a clothing closet.
